Delivery Info

Our aim is to offer the widest range of special effects products for TV, film & theatre, but sadly not all of them can be shipped by Royal Mail or our carriers. If any of the products you have chosen cannot be sent by mail order, this will be highlighted at the checkout. Please ring us, as we may be able to deliver them in our own van or you could collect from the Quicksilver Special Effects shop.

• 1.4S Products can only be sent by carrier or collected from our shop.
• 1.3G and 1.4G cannot be sent out at present. These items must be collected from our premises.
• Shatterglass products will only be sent out by carrier at the customer's risk.
• Aerosols/flammable products cannot be sent by Royal Mail.
• Due to our carriers collection schedule, orders placed after 11am may not be despatched until the following working day.
• Orders cannot be guaranteed for same day despatch as some of our products are held in storage off site. Please contact us if you need to check before ordering.
• Orders are despatched Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.
• Priority delivery is one to two working days from the date of despatch from our premises and not from the time the order is placed. Priority delivery is NOT guaranteed next day. However, it usually is.
• Economy delivery may take up to a week or longer from the date of despatch and may not have any tracking information.
• An e-mail will be sent confirming that the order has been despatched. Please note that our priority carriers may require a signature of receipt, which needs to be by someone aged 18 years or over. 
• Key Points (The hazard level for each product is shown in Product Specification on the product detail page.)
• A small number of our products carry a high shipping cost because they are heavy, bulky or fragile; Fragile items such as shatterglass are doubled boxed and filled with soft poly chips to reduce breakage during transit.
